Acquiring and refining the skills of skateboard and scooter
Description
Py-Ra stands for ParthenaY Riders' Association: a clever name because pyra is the name of one of the skateboarding styles, it is made up from the first and last letters of the title, and also ra suggests era thereby heralding the era of skateboarding to Parthenay. Clever folk these skateboarders!
It was founded in 2021 by a group of skateboard and scooter enthusiasts.
It has attracted more and more members who get together to practise, to learn from each other at the Skate Park in the leisure complex in Parthenay. They have classes for beginners too.
