Boxes of lamb sold direct to the public from the farm, take-away meals
Description
Sheep farmers at Le Tallud, in the heart of the Gâtine Poitevine, Frédéric, Nathalie and soon Samuel, sell vacuum-packed lamb. These come in quarter-lamb (3-4Kg) or half-lamb (7-8Kg) boxes. They also sell packs of burgers, sausages, merguez and mince, a nice change on the barbeque! Pick up at the farm or free delivery within 35Km with any purchase over 50€
The first weekend of every month Nathalie has a session in the kitchen where she makes lamb-burgers and tagine. Order and collect from the farm or free delivery within a 10Km radius as long as you have bought at least 3 portions.
The farm has IGP recognition (Protected geographical area) and belongs to the local lamb association which guarantees that you are buying quality meat!
During the summer you will find their stand at most of the Producers' Markets run by the Pays de Gâtine
