Description
In the heart of the Gatine, this villa is ideal for long stays to explore the culture, the games, the sports and the natural environment around you, or to just relax where you are. It has an enormous garden, a terrace with a heated swimming pool, billiards, table football, table tennis, bikes to borrow, a sitting room with a piano, a library, another lounge with an open fireplace. The range of rooms allows you to choose the ideal place for you to settle, depending on whether you are feeling like company or quiet, or to curl up with a book. The rooms are very light, each room has lots of wardrobe space. Dany and Jean-Michel make very tasty breakfasts and can also serve evening meals using regional produce. The intriguing dining room will certainly surprise you! You can also opt for an evening BBQ to have out on the terrace by the pool. Why not indulge in some special moments during your stay?

- With a cinema backdrop after a make-up session, you pose for a series of ‘star portraits’.
Awarded 3 & 4 stars with Gites de France and CléVacances. Recommended as a ‘chic’ place to stay in the Routard guide 2015 and has the ‘Acceuil Velo’ accreditation. Open all year. We speak French, English and some German.
The Villa Ayrault is also an Exchange Bureau where you can change your Euros into Gâtinelles: 1€ = 1 Gâtinelle but 100€ = 105 Gâtinelles!

A very large, comfortable room on the first floor with a balcony facing the rising sun and a private veranda facing due South. From here you have a panoramic view across the town of Parthenay and the surrounding countryside. It has a queen sized, extra long bed, and a sofa-bed which will take one or two people. It has loads of wardrobe space and a very big bathroom with shower, bath, two handbasins, and a toilet. A courtesy tray with kettle, coffee, decaf, tea and infusions, mineral water and sugar. “The Locker-Room” and the next door “Bosses’ Room” can be put together to make an independent suite for a very large group of family or friends.

LA NOUVELLE GENERATION
A comfortable room on the first floor with a view over the trees outside and the indoor garden. A comfortable, roomy room on the first floor with a private balcony facing the rising sun. It has 5 single beds, and depending on the group, it is possible to put single beds together to make doubles. There is a generous bathroom with shower, bath, two hand basins, toilet and courtesy tray with kettle, coffee, decaf, tea and infusions, mineral water and sugar. “The Locker-Room” and the next door “Bosses’ Room” can be put together to make an independent suite for a very large group of family or friends.

Les Fifties
A comfortable, roomy bedroom on the ground floor with a huge private terrace facing the rising sun. The furniture dates from the 50s, but the bedding is new! It has a very big bed (2 x 2.15 metres) with traditional sheets, blankets and undersheet. Also a sofa-bed, which can sleep one or two people, a bathroom with a bath, shower, two washbasins, a toilet, a bidet and a courtesy tray with kettle, coffee, decaf, tea and infusions, mineral water and sugar.
