Description
Malène Pacault, a young market gardener, sells her organic produce directly to the consumer. Her range is seasonal depending what is growing at the time, but she increases it by selling produce from other local kitchen gardens and from the organic wholesalers in Nantes.
She spent several years working in the fruit and veg trade and finally took the step of moving into the production of organic veg at a market garden in Vouhé. Two years later she moved back to her family's farm at La Grande Roche in St Pardoux where she set up her own market garden on 1.2hectares and called it 'The Gardens of the Bassetière' She also sells organic fruit from Dad's orchards and from time to time she also sells beef from the farm.
So.... fresh, seasonal, organic food and at a fair price which gives her a return for her time but doesn't leave the consumer out of pocket.
Orders to 06 58 21 16 54 from 6pm Monday to 6pm Wednesday, pick up at the farm on Thursdays between 4pm and 7pm, home delivery on Friday mornings, minimum order 15€
She has a stall on Saturday mornings at Vouhé market and on Sunday mornings at Chatillon sur Thouet market
