Foie Gras Producer


 On a sheep farm in Ménigoute, established in 1979, we have also been producing fattened ducks at La Bouronnière since 1985.  Our daughter Berengére took over from us in 2009. 

Three-month-old male Mulard ducks are force-fed with whole grain corn in the traditional manner.  After 13 days of force-feeding, they are slaughtered and processed here on the farm.  Our premises are approved to European standards.  

We have created and currently produce about 20 duck-based recipes, 100% duck with no added colours or preservatives, simply prepared using our grandmothers' methods for tasty and authentic flavours.   Our diverse product range includes fresh duck and lamb products,  preserves (rillettes, pâtés, home-made preserves...) and cooked dishes based on duck or lamb.

La Bouronnière farm is part of the Bienvenue à la ferme network, a national brand approved by the Chamber of Agriculture.  We are committed to respecting the brand's quality charter.
